LIMITS

There is no limit to the number of items on a card, except FastTrack books and museum passes.  There are no age restrictions on any materials.

OVERDUE CHARGE

Adult Materials………………….$0.15 per day

Children’s/Teen’s Materials……$0.10 per day

DVDs………………………….…$2.00 per day

Museum Passes…………….…$2.00 per day

Senior citizens (65 and older) are charged fines on DVDs and museum passes.

RENEWALS

Most library materials may be renewed twice, provided no one else is waiting for them.  Excluded are FastTrack books, and museum passes.  DVDs may be renewed once.  Renewals may be done in person, by phone, or on-line at www.cheshirelibrary.org

BOOK DROPS

Book drops are located in the front and back of the building.   Materials returned in the bookdrops after the library closes will be checked in the following business day.

DVD BORROWER RULES

• Anyone possessing a valid library card may borrow DVDs.  You are responsible for overdue fines, damaged, and lost items.
• DVDS are available on a first come, first-served basis.  There are no reserves.  You are free to select from those titles currently available when you come into the library.
• DVDs are loaned for one week.  They are due before the library closes on their due date.  Overdue charges are $2.00 per day, per title and apply to all borrowers, including senior citizens.
• Overdue fines are determined by the Cheshire Town Council and are set by town ordinance.
• Both hot and cold weather ruin audiovisual materials so please don’t leave them in your car.
