Cheshire Anime Club/
Fridays: June 13, July 25 & August 15 3:30 - 4:30
No registration required.
Konnichiwa, minna-san! Can't get enough Anime and Manga? Be an "Otaku" and join the Cheshire Anime Club! We'll meet monthly, read and talk about what's hot in the world of Manga, and watch some of the latest Anime releases on the big screen! Japanese snacks (like Ramune and Pocky) will be available for refreshments.
Teen Games Drop-in/
Fridays: June 20, August 1, & August 22 2:30 - 4:30
No registration required.
Play games and nibble snacks! We have a brand-new flatscreen television set up with a Nintendo Wii available for group play, as well as a large selection of board games: Monopoly, Upwords, chess, checkers, Scrabble, Life, Club, Yahtzee, Boggle, Battleship - and many more!
Teen Crafts/
Fridays: June 27, July 18, August 8 3:30 - 4:30
Register in the teen area beginning June 2. Grades 5 - 8
Join us for some crafty times! On June 20, we'll make giant collages from magazines and scraps of all kinds. On July 18, we'll make pot-holders from old socks (bring your own or use ours!), and on August 8, we'll make jewelry out of supplies found at the hardware store. Sign up in the teen area for one, two, or all three programs.
Teens Read to Tots/
Wednesdays: July 2 - August 13 9:30 - 11:00
Register in the teen area beginning June 2, Grades 7 - 12
Do you enjoy working with young children? Register beginning on June 2 for our annual Teens Read to Tots summer program. Teens entering grades 7 and up will be paired with preschoolers for stories and a craft. All participants must attend at least 5 sessions. Teen Volunteer Program/
Mondays, all day
