Cheshire Anime Club
Fridays:
June 26th, July 24th, & Aug. 14th
3:00 - 4:30pm
No registration required.
Konnichiwa, minna-san! Can't get enough Anime and Manga? Be an "Otaku" and join the Cheshire Anime Club! We'll meet monthly, read and talk about what's hot in the world of Manga, and watch some of the latest Anime releases on the big screen! Japanese snacks (like Ramune and Pocky) will be available for refreshments.
Teen Games Drop-in
Fridays: July 10th, July 31st, Aug. 7th, & Aug. 21st 2:30—4:30pm
No registration required.
Have a Battle of the Bands or Dance like a Maniac! We have a Nintendo Wii available for group play with ROCK BAND 2, DDR, awesome dance pads, BRAWL, and lots more! We also have a large selection of board games: Monopoly, Upwords, chess, checkers, Scrabble, Life, Clue, Yahtzee, Boggle, Battleship—and many more! Play games and nibble snacks, FTW!
“Teen Shorts” Digital Video Contest
Tuesday Evening, Aug. 18th

Register in the teen area beginning June 1.
Create a 1–5 minute video/web video/cellflick about libraries or books! Entries will be reviewed & videos that meet criteria will be shown on Tuesday night, Aug 18th. Winners will then be chosen by audience enthusiasm! You could win a Best Buy Gift Card and/or have your video posted on the CPL website! Entries accepted through Aug 7th. Teens Read to Tots
Wednesdays: July 1 —August 12
9:30—11:00am
Register in the teen area beginning June 1, Grades 7—12.
Do you enjoy working with young children? Register beginning on June 1 for our annual Teens Read to Tots summer program. Teens entering grades 7 and up will be paired with preschoolers for stories and a craft. All participants must attend at least 5 sessions.
