Cheshire Anime Club
Fridays:
June 4th & 25th, July 16th, Aug. 6th & 27th
3:00 - 4:30pm
No registration required.
Konnichiwa, minna-san! Can't get enough Anime and Manga? Be an "Otaku" and join the Cheshire Anime Club! We'll meet monthly, read and talk about what's hot in the world of Manga, and watch some of the latest Anime releases on the big screen! Japanese snacks (like Ramune and Pocky) will be available for refreshments.
Anime Club Xtra
Tuesday Evenings: June 22nd, July 20th & Aug. 17th
6:00 - 8:30pm
No registration required, Grades 9-12 and up.
This group is BYOS (bring your own snacks) and for high school age and up only! Full-length Anime movies and a wider variety of Anime shows will be offered for your viewing pleasure!
Teen Games Drop-In
Fridays: June 18th, July 9th & 30th, Aug. 20th
2:30 — 4:30pm
No registration required.
Nintendo Wii available for group play with ROCK BAND 2, DDR, MARIO KART, BRAWL, and lots more! We’ve got board games too, so come play games and nibble snacks, FTW!
Crafty Teen Workshops / Fridays, July 23rd & Aug. 13th
2:30 — 4:30pm
Register in the teen area beginning June 1, Grades 7—12.
July 23rd- Chainmail Bracelet: Create a bracelet that a knight or princess would be proud to wear!
August 13th- Henna Tattoos: Learn about the art of Mehndi and apply henna to your hands (or feet)!
Teens Read to Tots / Wednesdays: July 7th —August 18th 9:30 — 11:00am
Register in the teen area beginning June 1, Grades 7—12.
Do you enjoy working with young children? Register beginning on June 1 for our annual Teens Read to Tots summer program. Teens entering grades 7 and up will be paired with preschoolers for stories and a craft. All participants must attend at least 5 sessions.
Teen Volunteer Program / Mondays, all day
Are you looking to give back to your community? Fulfill a community service requirement? Have fun? Consider becoming a library volunteer! Sign up in the teen area of the library—or by contacting Kelley by phone or e-mail.
